Winter Break/ Updates :D

HEY GUYS!!!!

I've been having a pretty okay break so far. I REALLY WANNA SEE AVATA. PRINCESS AND THE FROG, AND SHELOCK HOLMES. but none of my friends are into that stuff. they rather see romance movies and stuff like that, rather than cartoon, animation and mysteries. I'll figure it out.

lol i JUST saw Mean Girls for the first time in my life. apparently everyone else has seen it, so i just decided to see it last night lol xD

I'm working on an animation to a french song right now, and it's taking FOREVER. i have almost no patience, and i keep on working on and off on it. So far, i have about 20 seconds. I'm getting stuck on this one part where this guy is supposed to stand up after kind of bieng bent over. It's sort of wierd to completely explain it, so i wont. I'm also having a tough time figuring out walking sequences, but i almost have it down :) I'm really proud of it so far, considering it's my VERY first animation. i might post what i have on dA :D

ALSOOO, i'm working on a deviation to post up (FINALLY). i'm relatively proud of it, but i'm hitting some trouble spots because i tried doing a technique that's pretty new to me :)

the face pic? as in the icon/avatar? if you mean the avatar, then you just go to the down arrow next to your screenname on the green bar on the very top. click "edit settings" and on the left click Identity. then you can browse for a 50x50 pixel pic that you want to use for your avatar :)

and adding friends is basically the same thing as watching somebody. you can watch your friends and you can watch people who's work you wanna follow!

You don't really have to do much. DAcademy, all you have to do is hang around and give and get critiques.

It's described as a two way street though; you shouldn't show up constantly and demand critique without giving other members critique as well, or you'll probably be ignored xD And you shouldn't come in with EVERY SINGLE picture you have either, we can't baby you through everything.

Basically, we are here to help you as much as you're willing to work, and you'll get as much out of it as you put into it =)

There's a chatroom called DAcademy, you can go introduce yourself and meet some of the regulars. I'm normally there but I've been busy lately xd They're very friendly and if you've got the right attitude you'll fit right in.
